I agree. I think it's reversed; there were some extra whittler BLADES, and so they made a bunch of springs to fit them. The steel/heat treat involved in making the springs is probably less expensive than that of the blades, anyway.I'll doubt it, at first. The springs are off a similar knife, but no pin cutout for a whittler. At most, the blade is off a whittler.
