Spam e-mail from BSF

I have just received an e-mail from Buy Sharp Forum (BSF). The message for those who sent it: REMOVE MY ADDRESS FROM YOUR LIST. I am not going to reply to the e-mail since that is the way spammers correct their address lists.

I am using this forum to post the message since I think it belongs here. I did not ask for any information and I think the e-mails were collected here (or on KFC). I do not think it is good business practice and I am really hesitant to even visit that place.

Are you guys registered members of BSF? I am, but have not received the first piece of e-mail from them. You can modify your profile to prevent the administrators from sending you e-mail.

I too registered there and have not received any emails. Maybe the source of the spam is elsewhere.
 
No, I am NOT registered there, and yes I DID get the email. I dont mind it from Bladeforums, but I have the option checked to get it. But as for BSF I am NOT registered and dont want your email....remove me at once!!!

Same with me. Since I am a partner in a 7 city ISP I have access to numerous accounts for my personal use. The account I use for BladeForums is getting inundated with NUMEROUS spam/junk email and it is getting increasingly worse.

I just trash them, but it is quite annoying.
I'd also be curious to know how this happened.
 
I just sent an email to Patrick asking him how he got the email addresses.

I also got the same email with the header below attached.

He may have stripped the email addresses from his own computer. If you have done business or sent an email to him he could of pulled it from there. If Patric stripped email addresses from BFC we will yank his posting ability and remove his banner.

Hopefully he go them in a legitimate way.

I've registered @ BuySharpForums & bought from Triple Aught as well and have yet to receive a spam email. With Patrick's reputation, I cannot imagine him actiing in a un-professional manner such as this. At any rate, I would welcome any email from Patrick anyway!

No spam for me either, Blade Forums have emailed me in the past but always were polite to say if I didn't want it anymore to return with a comment saying so, but I don't mind so I've never declined.

well..it would be free at first..then all of a sudden, WHAM !!, we'd all be reading posts like the following:

I registered there and got the email. It doesn't bother me. Heck...I'm on AOL, and they're the king of spam. At least it didn't say:
Hot housewife knife luver looking for your 12 inch bowie

Truth be told I could only give her my talonite Tad Pole....heheheheh....I crack myself up.....

I did not register to the site and never bought anything from them. When I got the e-mail I remembered the post on Blade discussion forum but the thread was already locked.

I do not mind informative e-mail time to time but I want to have the chance to be removed from the list. But this e-mail did not offer that option.

I registered over there and before that, I hadn't got spam in a long time. I didn't buy anything from them, but since I registered over there I'm up to my A** in spam. I'd sure like to make it stop

No SPAM for me, and I'm registered. I have also exchanged emails with Patrick, but never bought anything from him directly. I can't imagine Patrick doing such a foolish thing as ripping email addresses from BFC. Hey pm, what's up?

NO spam for me.
I registered there (BSF) right away as I unfortunately can no longer deal with the sales pages here.
It was always my first stop in the past, just had it bookmarked and started there,then entered the Forums. No Mas, won't even look anymore, Sorry.

It has NOTHING to do with the $$$ cost (to me)
and EVERYTHING to do with the look and feel ie.unreadable/clunky

I regret the impact the new look here might have on the Forum as a whole.
Not going to be good at all if more people feel as I do and won't look at the Sales page here.
