Spanish Notches

First that collage is fantastic. Thanks Coop!

On a user none of the fancy ones, but a plain smooth one to choke up on for certain types of use or sharpening can be a good thing.

As I look at that collage, there are a lot of knives that would not be the same without the "notch". For me it works on some and could be left out on others. In general, I like the creative ones that don't jump out at you apart from the rest of the knife. Some of the less fancy ones add a nice touch in themselves.

So to boil it down for me ... "yes, no, maybe." ;)

He was a maker featured on the cover of Blade a few years ago with his pistol knife. Very ornate work. Rarely seen.
