Request you add Pendentive ( Daniel Koster ) as 3rd moderaton for HI Forum.

Mr. Martino's health has been bad for past half year and I'm getting kind of frazzled myself.

Mr. Martino selected Pendentive who has his approval.

Would you please make the neccessary arrangements?

I thought it went to the Back End forum, not here.

Tried again and got another message placed in the Back End.

Sunday night I sent Spark and email. No response. Going at it this way now.

Congratulations, Pen!

Rusty, you lost Sparks with the talk of the MMPI.

Just knew it Dan...best of luck! Call me if you need any of "Thomas's Miracle Oil" shipped to you!

ps: You'll still come to MWKK05, won't you?
pps: Bbbbbbrrrrrrrrrpppppppppttttttttttttttttt, with accompanying spit.

I thought we were keeping THAT ( MMPI ) a close held secret. Who leaked ??? ;) ;) ;)

As another 2nd grade teacher remarked to my wife about one kid: "He really is trying, Mary!" and my wife responded: "Yes - very trying!"

PS: When we finish canning them, we'll send you a jar of pickled peyote buttons in jalapeno sauce.

I didn't think the Nevada desert had peyote.

Always wondered what I'd do if I found some.

Yeah, always a tough choice. I mean, do you try to mix it with something to cover the taste, or just grin and bear it? ;) :D

Congrats Dan. I think that everyone was more or less sure that it was to be you and more importantly should be you. I just hope that there isn't to much abuse of power ;) :D

Oh you could try posting something in the Service and Support Forum under the general section. Just a thought.

spiraltwista was the first to publicly deduce the 3rd moderator; I innately knew Pen would be selected myself, as did many of the regulars here. I did think of Yvsa of a 2nd runner up, though, who would be more than qualified in his own right. Munk was also close in the proverbial race... Anyway, congratulations, Dan! This used to be a rather sane (I did qualify by stating "rather sane") place to talk about just about everything, including khukuries. Let's hope that it doesn't get even crazier with Pen breathing down our backs... :D

Dan :)

Sorry, munk, the Peter Piper picked a peck of pickeld peyote remark was to Pendentive. You'll have to take a jar home with you when you come.

Like I said, I thought I was posting this thread to the whatchamacallit ( Back End forum ). Have since sent another to the Back End and that one made it.

Munk, Wovoka's dad ( forget his name ) came up with the 1860's Ghost Dance, and Wovoka brought it back in 1889. He lived on the Walker River Res, thirty miles away, and the Yereington res, about another 30 past the WRPT rez. What did you think he was smoking to have the dream? It's all over, I'm told, and I wouldn't see one if it bit me.

Rusty, my problem in finding such a thing is that though sober today, if I were struggling through a wilderness, and happened upon a mild altering substance, at least a part of me would shriek, "GOD WANTS ME TO HAVE THIS!

What would be more natural than chowing down and continuing upon the trek of self discovery? Yeah, that's it...discovery...

Congratulations Dan. I'm sure you'll do a superb job. Hope you have some time left over to make a knife or two. :D

Congrats Dan:D

I couldn't think of a better guy to help keep the rest of the wild and woolies of the Cantina in check. Not too many guys that i know that can hold a steady, tackful hand when dealing with some of the issues that come up while still remaining very approachable and interesting to read. It truly is a great day for the HI forum:) Good choice Bill and Rusty....although i would have to say that Bruise would have been an interesting choice nonetheless;)

All that matters is that we have one we can all respect...and that would go equally for Yvsa, munk, Bruise...heck, almost any of the "regulars"...

Where else would Uncle and Rusty find such a wealth of folks they could trust the keys to the kingdom to?

Yup...the land of the "Cantinistas"
