Spartan Blades fixed and folders .

Spartan puts out plenty models of knives but the Spartan Harsey Folder (SHF), Akribis and Harsey Difensa are the only models that I have owned. I like the SHF so much I bought a couple; I prefer the 4" because the 3.25" doesn't fit well in my mitt.

I'll start the pictures off with my current line up:

I thought I really wanted a Pallas, Ronin-Torii, and the Harsey Dagger. Also that I wouldn't like the SHF, but then I handled them in person. I found that I liked the SHF a lot and bought it. The Pallas just didn't do it for me. And the handles of the Torii and Harsey Dagger were too small for my hands. The V42 is also a little small.

I also found that I like the Nemec and I'm really like how their kukhri felt in my hand and it might be my next one.

I'm glad my local dealer is getting a good selection.

I broke down and picked up a Harsey Dagger a couple weeks ago. All black. I do not like the nylon sheath and will probably order a Kydex from them. It doesn't hold the blade securely, too much room and it rattles. And like the one with my Difensa it is very bulky around the handle.

There are a couple of the SHF designs I'm liking, and I'm really thinking of a Clandestina.
