Recommendation? Spartan Harsey, between CRK and Hinderer?

Hey guys. I EDC/rotate a large sebenza 31/21/inkosi. I also rotate in a hinderer xm-24. Looking for something not as thick bladed and heavy as the xm-24 but a bit faster to deploy and slightly thicker than the CRK’s. As long as it slices well.
Is this where a harsey fits in or no? Do they have issues? I thought I read somewhere they had lock issues but I may be wrong.

There are Hinderer options. Both 18 and 24 comes as Skinnies (the 24 Skinny Slicer has been discontinued, runs on washers, and you can still find it here or there - a great knife).

Here is a 18 Skinny:

Also, you might consider Project X or Fulltrack, both a bit larger than the 18, and thinner than the 24.

Roland.

I own, love, and carry multiple SHFs, and will just say: slicers they are not. They're essentially what you would get if CRK decided to make an XM24. SHFs are fantastic knives, and aren't known for any issues, to my knowledge.

The only issue I've ever had with SHF is that they keep releasing highly desirable handles which causes my pile of em to continually grow!

I’d like something solid like the a Sebenza 21 with titanium handles and a frame lock. Bearings or PB, I’m not picky. It doesn’t necessarily have to be light, I don’t mind the 24. It doesn’t have to be a razor blade but the 24 hangs up in cardboard and isn’t a nimble blade as far as wood working is concerned. I do a lot of random tasks throughout the year, I won’t even say day. I fish, hunt, hike. Work inside the home stripping wire, sharpening carpenters pencils. Cut fruits here and there, etc. not a lot of rope cutting but I do cut paracord from time to time. I love the xm-24 Bowie I have as the tip lends itself well to picking out splinters or tracing shapes on paper to cut. I mostly EDC my 31 or a para 2.

It's a little bit smaller than a Large Sebenza (not much), but the Arno Bernard iMamba might be something you'd want to check out. It's on bearings (you can also get it on washers and with or without flipper) and if you get an inlay version it has a nice handle width to it. Not sure if the handle is thicker or thinner than a Large inlay Sebenza.

I LIKE that
I’ve had about a dozen Hinderer’s - sold all of them in favor of the F3. Out of the box cutting is capable with a Curtiss. The hallow grind of the primary is extremely sharp, the flat grind on the tip is very strong. They come in 3 different grinds. Spanto, slicer and Wharncliff. Definitely worth looking into

There is a black F3 in the middle of this pic - couple large reeves for reference also.
