JTB_5 Many thanks! It's from 2014 MIT serialised No.12 of 25. The Ebony is more of the dark chocolate type rather than Jet but I find it attractive.

I was thinking this newer John Primble was one of the few spear bladed knives I own, and the only spear Barlow. Then it occurs to me that ALL of my SAKs have spear main blades, except for the clip bladed Buck made by Wenger. Hmmm, and Alox SAKs would be twofers. Oh well, next week, and the next week...

I agree. Years ago, I used to see the bulbous spear as odd, but tastes evolve. I love the way the blade shape mirrors the pattern shape.
