  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Ok I just found this
And I've been perusing thru since last night

There are many many beautiful examples

Would I be mistaken in saying that here in the US the clip is king but back in Europe the spear is in fact the king?

Now I am wondering what blade types are really common in Asia and other parts of the world

Wouldn't say that about the Clip/Spear really. Long ago Spears were more common on knives but by the start of c20th Clips had displaced them esp. in the US. In Europe it's true that they're the main blade of SAKS but if you think of French knives most of them have a type of Clip or Sheepfoot, Spears much less common. Other blades such as Leaf blades are common in Europe too.

I very much like that Spear White Owl you show in Red Rustbone, I have the same but with Clip! If you fancy trading it, get in touch via message.

Thanks, Will
