These are gems, the Hartford shows the type of shield this year's Forum Knife should have had, makes the most of the Ebony canvas it's on:)

The Winchester interests me for having a long pull struck through to the tang itself. This suggests to me a very old knife, early c20th? Impressive condition too:cool:

I have more canoes than any other pattern, and most feature a large and a small spearpoint blade. As Leslie Tomville Leslie Tomville pointed out in a previous post, the main blade of the red bone Case canoe from the 70s is quite admirable:

Nice picture, GT and a great knife, I do like it a lot too.
Blade shape and thickness is just right on these old Canoes, really good slicers.
By chance I took a similar picture of mine during this winter.
Even after some use, the Indian in the Canoe stays visible, an advantage of the blade etching.
PS: The trees in your forest are growing upside down...?;)
