Spec Ops Combat Master Sheath

i think its more about ascetics and peace of mind that a clasp and zipper would have better retention than a velcro flap
 
Yeah I also second the combat master sheath better than the survival sheath

I got me an OD survival sheath but for the most part its just for show, cause I wouldnt use it over the combat master
 
hmmm food for thought. Im a bitmore excited now for the combat master to show up. I hope it surprises me and I love it, and also I hope to find a survival sheath just becuz

Really, the limiter on the survival is there is a zipper, and snap cover that goes over the zipper. You snap the cover strap, and you lose space in the pouch, leave it undo, and run the risk that your kit will cause that zipper to slip. There is also a quick releas buck as well, and you can "expand" everything to encompass a good amount, I just don't feel that the Survival pouch is better than a Combat Master. The combat Master is about the size of the pouch on the BKT sheaths, only better made, and the flap, is pretty secure.

If there is any doubt, they don't make the Survival anymore, but they sell the hell outta the Combat Master. Just a thought.

Survival sheath with random stuff in it? Not so good.
Survival sheath with a tin to keep everything secure? Winner.
Just my opinion.

I wish that Spec-Ops would make the Combat Master pouch a little more expandable similar to the Becker stock sheaths.
I'm thinking here especially of the green ones that used to come with the Camillus knives.
