Special Pieces that may not have received Deserved Exposure.

Jerry's Southwest Bowie is probably my favorite Bowie Design. He does it so well and they are always so recognizable as a Fisk.
Chuck Ward certainly captured it superbly. 11-1/2" blade.

It's off to Jerry's collector, his first Bowie Knife. He's certainly off to a great start.

Here's a beautiful Hatchet & Knife Set created by Edmund Davidson. Edmund integrals are absolutely amazing as demonstrated here.
The engraving is by Jere Davidson and the case is by Marvin Huey. The inside wood is Ash and is covered with African Cape Buffalo hide. Images are by Eric Eggly.

Love that trio. Its hard to imagine how much work is put into this set by both Davidsons. Stellar results.

That hand axe really is amazing. Is the handle hollowed out? Wondering just how much it weighs.

Edmund Davidson's Full Integral hatchet weighed in at 3 pounds and 3 ounces (1.56 kg).
It is 3/4” (22 mm) thick, 4 7/16” (110 mm) tall and 10 15/16” (275 mm) long.

The hatchet is displayed in my new book "The World of Art Knives" Vol. II 2014,
that has only just arrived in the USA for distribution.

The full page display (shown here) is from a section in the book, "The Axe", By Steven Garsson!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

Every year at his Micro-Show Jerry Fisk offers a Sendero for $8.00 to commemorate his selling his first Hunting Knives for $8.00.
A drawing is held with each attendee having a chance to purchase the knife. The Senderos are usually his base models however
with 2014 being his 10th Micro-Show, Jerry will offer the beauty below for $8.00. Someone is going to get quite a deal.
Crackle Mammoth Ivory and Jerry's 'DogStar' pattern Damascus and some very nice scratching on the guard.
