Special Pricing On NW SAR 5 ! ! !. . . .Yes it involves alcohol and a long story!!!!!

I like the bottom rendition myself, even for field use. I like the handle shape and the blade area at the lower bottom of the handle. how difficult will it be to 'rework' this into a different shape as you are suggestting? i know I read the thread where someone did a beautiful job on a SusScrofa, that's what I'm thinking....

since all your doing with that bottom mod is flattening out the finger side of the handles, it wouldn't take much work, but it would take quite a bit of time to work through that amount of full thickness infi without overheating it. 4 seconds on, cold water dip, 4 seconds on, cold water dip and so on

doing slow mod/grinding feels like therapy to me these days, so I don't mind the long grind times anymore. I'd say anywhere from 1-3 hours, depending on how hard you wanna push it. add many hours to that if you want to mirror pollish the exposed portion of the ground metal.

What is this?? Mass birthday for piglets??

'Cause Friday is my birthday, too! :D:D

Well, I was going to spend this weekend in the woods with my new HHFSH and a flask of Nadurra celebrating my (our) day, but the weather has nixed that opportunity. Combined with the shoddy service of a well known online knife shop with providing me with a new RC-4, I believe I may just have no choice but to take a stab at it come Friday PM.

Sweet... I'm in for a pair...

Anybody need me to pick one up at the show for them?

I might, I will have to let you know on that one. I will be at my older sisters without access to the internet at the time of the ganza. The question is whether I have the funds to do it right now (really, whether the wife will divorce me if I do it) but hey, my birthday is coming up in, and I am graduating from law school.....doesn't that entitle me to another deeply discounted NWsar?

you will be at the Oregon show on Saturday? or Sunday?

Sweet! I had already decided to take the plunge, and grab this as my first Busse, regardless of the price. Jerry's generous offering is just icing on the cake. Needless to say, I'm very excited, and looking forward to (hopefully) my first taste of INFI. I suppose it was inevitable... I started with a Scrapper 6, moved on to a RMD, now finally a Busse. Wish the newb luck at the trough on Friday!

Shouldn’t Jerry post the rules soon?

Where do we send the e-mails?

If I don’t get drunk and fall asleep – 9-10pm eastern is 03:00-04:00 here is Sweden…

Everytime I see the title of this thread I have to chuckle, isn't there always liquor and a long story involved with Jerry? :D

Good! If the Ganzaa truly happens, I'll be glad to see you there ... Birthday Bro. :)

Question.. .are these the only colors available? Will the tan/tan micrata be available?

Thanks... trying to snag my first Busse!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Thanks for the info I'Canary:) Guess I might consider sending mine off to a 'therapy shop' once they come in:D First. I prefer Satin finish blades and straight handles on my knives, for the most part.:D
