Specs And Pricing For The TNT-15 Sword

Hey Shooter, don't feel bad - Most probably have notifications for this thread going directly to our phones in hopes of a "DING" alert - Trust me, most are playing it cool but rest assured, everyone is on edge waiting for that first ding alert! .... Anyone who denies it goes right into the "shenanigans" dumpster. At heart, all hog and feed on Busse chips, no, not feed, gorge on them.

Like the stripper look on these but with the sr101? Hard to keep rust of it?
That will depend a lot on environmental factors. I live in an arid climate, and have found bare 52100 just fine.

I tend to patina carbon steel knives I carry, which slows the effects. If I lived in a costal/Swamp area I might opt for coating..

But surface rust is pretty easy to deal with for me.

So is the TNT available still? I have checked almost every day, and have not seen this listed on the Busse website. What did I miss?

Unfortunately you missed the initial offering. However, it sounds like maybe there's a chance for a future run at some point.
Keep an eye on the SYKCO website.

There should be a little taco bell dog chillin nodding his head at you right now like the old commercials !

To tide us over

Harder to make taco style on a long blade?
A little yes.

But mostly you do not gain anything in narrowness (about 1/4 to 1/2" is all.)

You also lose all of those attachment points, via the eyelets for various carry modes (baldric, backpack, Dundee, saber carry and so on) or attaching things like fire starters, other knives, sharpeners and so on.

I really have not seen the value in Taco over Pancake on a blade over 12" long.

But that is only My opinion after making sheaths for over 20 years and talking to thousands of folks who use the blades from mild to wild all over the world.

For what that is worth.

No doubt the dings are close...you know how I know?

Because my Paypal cash balance is .27 cents and my cc's are melting...so, it's coming, it always does.

This is, of course, the correct answer. The other correct answer is they will be ready when you've practically given up that you will ever see them show at your door.... ask me how I know!

i would say early oct
OOF...I just looked up the Busse F-16 and saw the ding timeline. If production of the TNT-15 follows the same pattern, then you'd be correct. I'm going to hold out hope that production for the TNT is faster than the F-16 was, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Chips are flying!

Pass the salsa!

Guys,

This can only mean one thing, they were likely being machined at the very moment Jerry posted this here a couple pages back. That should also mean resin guy is spot on giving us the old 'Two Weeks' before dings begin flying, I think in this case it may only be a couple more weeks until they are ready. The Scrap Yard offerings of recent months have all been delivered very timely, as in within a month or so. I can't wait.... but I'm still here patiently waiting of course.

I saw that too, that's the only thing that's keeping me hoping it's going to be soon(ish) when the dings start coming.
