Heh, I didn't decide to order mine till the 28th, I mulled it over the next several days before finally deciding to pull the trigger on one. I was actually wanting the Black coated version, but by the time I had made up my mind, only the Raw Dog finish option was available so I went with that. I had literally waited till the last minute, I'm lucky I didn't end up missing out.
 
My Christmas in July order STILL shows as "awaiting shipment"...pretty sure that I was one of the first to get my box

Nice! I'm really hoping this will have some blade heft when handling it, having a 2 3/4 POB should make it feel like it has a bit of mass (But not too much) when you swing it. I don't want this to feel like a machete.

They must be saving the best for last in your case. Couple years ago I had a grab bag come later than most other people and I was pleasantly surprised when I got it.
