Specs And Pricing For The TNT-15 Sword

The TNT-15 handle is slicker than the regulator and basic Res-C handles. The ridges help provide a solid grip. It seems a bit denser, as well. I dig it.

I read That too.....

Let me ask you, are You holding one now???
(I am) and it's Not the same material.

-or maybe it's a different curing process..... What do the Experts here have to say??? How many versions of This rubber are there?
no but at some point yes, I'm waiting on my dings ... also just stating the facts 🤪

First use......

My SYKCO comparisons

Here is the order of my testing with 20 hits each into freshly fallen hard maple

*Let me start off saying I'm not a sword expert.
*These are my First swings with the TnT.
*I am very comfortable swinging the 1311.

With that, I'm going to say that everyone should be pretty happy with the TnT.
It's very different than the 1311 though. There is going to be a learning curve to using it.... Sorta like there is when first using a kukri. It's Not the same as just another big chopper.

The order of chopping performance was
1311
TnT
Alpha Regulator (but I missed two backhand chops) you can see my oops.

I continued to test the short sword after the log test.
It's very different, please be careful!
I had (3) glancing blows with it. Maybe because it's thick, but short? Idk....
But they Didn't stick into the wood, at the angles I'm used to....one almost hit my leg. Again..... Go Slow, be Careful!!!!

I like it, it handles quick, does ok in wood.... It's probably better with water bottles, and flesh, or something else? But pretty good with wood.

Again, I'm used to how Awesome the 1311 is, but this is a Fun blade too.

Good stuff Crag! I don't think I ever saw it as a log chopper as a 1311 or BB13 would be or a BM for that matter. I'm curious to see the edge geometry and how that's done with shallow hollow grind. Possibly some room to work with shooting for optimizing angles for say a specific application. End of the day, it's a pretty cool short sword. I've never had one, nothing more than a cheap ass machete that flexed like a wet noodle. It will be better than anything I've ever gripped onto for sure.

Nice test, Thanks!

Dan did say it is a purpose built blade. He said he made a sword not a machete.
The fact that it a pretty decent chopper is a plus.
Most of my blades are used for Tactical Gardening
I'm betting in a couple months..... pumpkins will be screaming in Fear!

Not sure what "curing process means". From the pictures, it just looks like it doesn't have the same micro-texturing on the surface (so it looks a bit shinier).
It's a hard plastic feel almost like the Becker's Zytel scales.
Maybe just a tiny bit softer, but not really.

Feels Nothing like SYKCO normal handles. Idk why?

They may have changed the recipe. They've done that with INFI, so completely possible they may adjust ResiC without changing the name.

How secure does it feel in hand?

I'm tapping mine with silicone tape soon.....
(Idk if that answers your question?)

*Plus, it's thin.
I've had to increase all their handles, if you zoom in my pics.
Small to medium hands should be ok.

Without the cushioned feel, the flat edges kinda dig into your palm.
I think they would have benefited from the vibration dampening if they kept the material soft like the 1020, and others.

Maybe they had a good reason?
