The edge seems pretty sharp, in a toothy aggressive kind of way. Laying a straightedge from the top of the edge bevel to the top of the CBT is not a steep angle. It should cut. Still think that the blade could have been thinner. IMHO.

I get why they made the spine so thick, but I admit that part of me wishes they had made the handle at least 9-10 inches rather than 7 to offset it just a bit if nothing else. That's why I'm hoping they end up making a larger version with a longer blade and a handle length that will accommodate a two handed grip.
 
WOW! It's longer than I remember but I've made a point not to reminisce avoiding self induced pain.
So as I had said at the time, these are going to be hot hot hot! I thought I had my order in fast - Oops, just checked, it placed at 9:04. 4 minutes after 9 is the same as "2 weeks" in Busse time, wasn't that fast. Safe to assume I didn't make the first batch. Haven't even gotten a ding yet so I have time to work on my "story" for sneaking off to visit Garth :D

But for real, awesome photos and comparisons Shooter! Those were very informative of what to expect. Love the finish as well.

Yes Sir Rex, the price point of this one was so stupid simple it wasn't legit a question for anyone here still able to sit up and take nourishment 😁
 
Ok I was starting to wonder what was going on to since I was in pretty early on this one but looks like I'm not the only one who was in early but still hasn't got '' the ding'' I'm also in on the raw dawg so hopefully soon.
