The shadows gave it away for me.
Magnets to hold it the other way might look pretty neat, but I think it would be dangerous to retrieve.

OK, so now we know they're working on shipping out the orders that were placed on the 26th. The 27th and 28th shouldn't be too far behind once the ones from the 26th are all shipped out.

Received raw dog yesterday shipped 9/27 UPS (signature required) Ordered 6/25 @2:23am. I am more than impressed. The pics have been great but to finally have it in hand is the only way to fully appreciate it sublime beauty. And get a feel of the thick spine and thin bevel behind the edge. Sharp enough for now, it’s slicing paper smoothly. Excellent geometry. Everything about the handle is just right. Its my 2nd res.C (1st was the non chopping WS-221) so I’m looking forward to the chopping tests with this beast. From what I’ve read here it’s handling the shock rather well I can’t imagine how impressive a 24” blade would be.
