Specs And Pricing For The TNT-15 Sword

Finally got mine today! I know... No pics yet... But maybe tomorrow! I'm super excited!!
Might have to start my new coffee grounds patina project. Heard it turns SR-101 almost a Navy blue tone.
Please do! I've been waiting patiently for some patina pics on these!

is that just used coffee grounds left to sit on the blade?
That's what I read somewhere... But now that I read up more on it... It's super dark but rubs off easily. Might return to the mustard and vinegar idea... Or even slices of lemons.... I don't have a piece of warm bloody steak big enough to do the whole blade.

OK, I finally got this short sword in hand. Make no mistake, this is indeed a real short sword, NOT a machete.

This sword is indeed light and fast enough for martial arts useage IMHO. Even when using it one handed as well. Speaking of which, I am happy to say that I can indeed get a two handed grip on the handle if need be. It is everything I'd hoped it would be: a light, compact short sword that can easily be carried for when SHTF and you're all out of ammo.

please keep us posted, if you use it, and your reactions. :D

Hey fellow hogs, got mine today. Nice and sharp. It’s the first Busse I received with some rust on it. Since it’s already a raw dog finish, will it hurt the value for me to take a rust eraser to it?

could you take some pics of it?

What do you mean by value?
a rust eraser isn't going to break the blade or dent it.
imo, these aren't collector value blades......

Didn't you buy it to Beat on it.....haha

they are expensive right now because they Just came out. It's all supply and demand.
it will level off.
If you are thinking of selling, it's a buyers market. For now. Next year or so, idk?

I would beat on your knife, and enjoy it.... don't worry..... :)

so. used moist coffee grounds spread on the surface.

is this satin or stonewashed finish?

looks good!
Both knives are satin.
I just made a batch of cold brew that got drained today. So these are "once-used" coffee grounds. I started with putting them in a long tub but decided sticking them up in a mug was better.
Packed the coffee ground into the cup, pushed both knives in until the handle was "below ground". Then I poured hot water in, until the top was wet. So the knives were submerged. The pattern is from the ground contact with the blade and any air bubbles there's happened to be.
The steaks in the front of the WS1020 is probably from some oil residue or something I didn't get cleaned off enough....
