I'm liking the 39 also. It's a sweet knife. The first Spey Jack I got was a Henry Sears years ago. It's a very nice knife but has a nail breaking so spring. Never got carried much. These 39's will get carried.

Our new Spey friend Rufus1949 proxied this lovely knife for me. I’m gonna have to tame some of the snap!!!! I love a hard pull but my word this thing is mean. I’ll take it down and get it just right. Love a good Sheffield made pocket knife. Don’t think this one is real old and maybe an 80s or 90s produced knife. A wonderful example of a solid work knife.

I have died and gone to Spey heaven!!!! It’s raining castrating knives everyone. Just got the maple and 2 blade beaver 39 in. Hard to capture the beauty of the maple so I tried the best I could. The 2 blade is an absolute amazing knife. Also included my current group photo of the 39s. It will be growing hopefully.

I think the smooth white bone is very striking on this pattern. I believe they call that the propeller shield? Correct me if I’m wrong.
