SPOILER ALERT!! Official 'The Walking Dead' TWD Season 7 Discussion Thread

I'd wait till he handed me Lucille like he did Rick the smack him right in the balls with it. Then let a zombie or two have their way with him lol

Haha i concur, that would be some of the best revenge. I hope when/if Negan dies, its slow and painful and not a quick death

What jumped out were the green balloons.
What did she want with those and why did she even say please to get them back? Must be mighty important.
Maybe she planned to hang them somewhere high to signal somebody? She wasn't with the wolves. Maybe she's part of the Tiger guy's group?

The green balloons are Enids last connection to Glenn and Maggie. Glenn used the green balloons last season to signal Maggie that he was Ok after he survived the near death dumpster scene. He was heading back to alexandria with Enid after convincing her that they were her family now.

Cool. Thank you.

Now after this last episode, I hope everyone understands why gun registration is such a bad idea.

Rick and the group have turned soft unfortunately. I don't want to see Daryl die but he is a made up character to begin with. Negan's group would like be lost with out him to give the directions. Cut the head off the snake and usually the body writhes around a bit but soon dies also. Heck even the head can still bite you but not for too long. They had more than enough guns and stuff to stand and fight. There was zero reason in the 3 days between the first encounter to have not stashed a ton of stuff and got rid of that ledger. (Maybe the did in the new grave) but Rick is broken right now and the show is losing it's appeal to me.

Rick and Daryl have been making silly mistakes for quite some time now. Going outside the compound with just one or two people and minimal guns. They had enough encounters with these people to know what they were about. On top of that before Rick ever killed the guy who said he was negan last season there should have been a good amount of questioning and interrogation to figure out exactly what they would be up against. Everyone has a breaking point and that info could have saved the group a lot of trouble.

Hopefully the show runs through the negan phase quicker than the comics did lol. But me I would always rather live on my feet than die on my knees. I would have built up the positions. Stuck a couple of the AT4's or Rpg's they had up top. had several scouts out with a way to relay and when they showed up send a couple big explosions their way. Daryl is a big boy and could have figured out what to do or unfortunately sometimes you lose folks. Honestly half this mess is his fault anyhow based on his dumb reactions and thinking he could just go out and mess with large groups of people by himself with a crossbow lol

Yes many flaws. Including that Negan's group only has him as the monstrous fascistic head man, and no strong secondary command structure. Should have shot him at the gate, killed as many of his "army" in the accompanying truck as possible - and you would have a headless snake. And would be somewhat safe - at least for the near future.

I'm pretty disappointed with this season so far. First episode was ok then downhill from there. I would of wrote it so much better so far. I will be spending my Sunday nights in the "west world " until things pick up back in Virginia.

One of the points of fiction is to show the resourcefulness of the main character(s). This is now unwatchable. I give up.

Hilltop. Spoiler below.....

Maggie will eventually lead it. We are seeing the "hardening" of Rick. He will eventually get there, but will have to be driven to act. Ezekiel will provide tactical information

agreed. negens men only follow him out of fear. kill negan, show his head. either join, leave,or die.

Since this is a spoiler thread. I recall reading online some time ago that Neegan winds up in the cell Morgan built after a rebellion against the Neegan loyalists.

This season has been pretty weird. I think things will start picking up more. They had to show Rick was had completely submitted to Neegan but now things can start to head the other way.

I wonder what the turning point will be.
Something worse than killing Abraham and Glenn? Hard to imagine.
So I guess if Rick will fight in the future that means he isn't really broken right now and if circumstances are more favorable he'll pick up the fight again. Right now it doesn't look like he'll actively change anything so the change might come from outside or within his group. Maybe it's Maggie though I wonder how she will pull that off.

keep in mind carol and morgan are interacting with another group of potential combatants.
