And it's supposedly set in the south. There are 6 John Deere dealerships within 75 miles of my.house in northern Alabama
 
Serious Question for those who also read the graphic novels...

Would I get more enjoyment out of them at this point? Comics have no commercials and I can blaze through pages in just a few minutes. The tv show is losing us quick and the comment about Lucille's private parts was unnecessary. My wife and I aren't prudes, but that line was so poorly delivered it took a ton away from that scene.

I hope TTD interview with Negan was intentionally misleading, because if Carl & Negan's relationship "developes" over the next couple years, I'm gonna call it early and just stick with Vikings (which looks like it's going to be killer this year). Carl is a one trick pony and he needs to be culled.


I'm trying to keep to Dave Brown's sig-line, but it's a chore. I hope next year's premier turns the show around because I'm not expecting much next week.:rolleyes:
 
The comics are much better, I'm a big fan and even I'm getting bored to death this season. Lot of just pointless crap. Carl is a total idiot, not as much in the books still not the sharpest knife in the drawer though. I've been ready for him to get culled since the first season.

Pretty much at the just kill them all and let god sort it out point.
 
Did anyone else see the Busse in the last episode? It's about 5 minutes in. I don't follow this thread so maybe the character is already know to carry it. It was a surprise to me though.
 
All i got from this ep is 3 chars went/are going solo to kill The Humiliator. I'll keep watching even when it turns into an unintentional comedy, the last step before cancellation.

I totally agree. A couple of seasons ago it didn't take much convincing to get my wife into watching TWD with me...but it's almost getting uncomfortable to watch with her now. Toilet humor isn't any more clever now than it was in junior high. And I have a hard time believing that watching Glen and Abraham getting bashed in, in person, didn't sufficiently drive Neegan's lesson home to Carl...or that he would have hesitated that long when Neegan was in his sights and he was already firing away!

Carl never wanted to kill Negan..that was just a cover..Carl's real plan was to sing to him. No one in Alexandria takes Carl's dream of becoming the number one hit singer of the apocalypse seriously. Maybe Negan will!
 
I also didn't understand why Carl went thru all that trouble and then not squeeze a few at Negan, but I liked the episode otherwise. I believe that the language he used was supposed to cause a little discomfort for the viewer.
