Wow. That was rough.
 
I can't stand the guy, but arrogance doesn't sit well with me. I have no doubt they will keep Negan around for quite awhile but it is sad to see Rick and the gang have to give into such a P.O.S. Awesome to see Glenn go but I sure am gonna miss Abraham.
 
Wow,, off to a rough start for Rick.
I thought for sure Daryl was about to catch one.
 
Seems like pretty much everyone of David Brown's Walking Dead contest called it. I think the cliffhanger robbed it of the impact it should have had.
 
On to other other shows for me. Would not be surprised that they pushed the brutality a bit too far this time and with major charater loss we shall see how the ratings are for next week.
 
Rick and Negan are more alike than you may know. Between the two, i find myself rooting for Negan.

Decent episode, could of sped it up a little bit. When Michonne interrupted I thought the dude behind her was gonna pull the trigger LOL

Glenn's eye hanging out was kinda funny too ahaha and Abraham's last words were classic :thumbup:

On a side note, anyone else hate/sick of seeing/bored of Dwight? Just get rid fo him...
 
Hey guys, just saw the new episode... and I have to say, was a bit let down. I don't mind the character deaths, but Negan really talks too much. For the first time since the start, the show had a comic book feel to it. Along with that, one big thing didn't jive... why didn't Rick bury the axe in the back of Negan's head when he was driving? Twice. To make this work, Rick wasn't Rick.

Besides that, if I were Simon (Negan's right hand man), I'd be thinking of taking him out. I wouldn't trust a guy like that--the wind blows the wrong way, and he might make an example of you. Negan revels in his power and acts untouchable... and that is the guy that never sees it coming, typically from within his own ranks. If you are his next most powerful, he will likely take you out as a cautionary tale to the others... to keep them in line (or from sheer paranoia). To prevent that, the next most powerful--the boots-on-the-ground battle field commander-type, takes out the crazed dictator, and justifies his reign by saying that the madman is gone, and now we get to relax a bit while maintaining our strength.
 
Immediate reaction after watching? That was a bit too much like torture porn. And I could stomach the film 'Human Centipede.' Feel like my psyche was dragged through a nazi death camp. Gotta love Negan? Will only love seeing him die. Makes The Governor look like a saint by comparison. Yea, I know. Only a TV show.

Gotta agree about Negan man.....will ONLY love seeing him die! It will be awhile though. In the famous words of Abraham, Ricks group appears to now be "In s*** creek up to their necks with their mouths wide open." We will see how they respond to this. But probably not next week...
 
With the shoe on the other foot....look at it from Negan's perspective. If you ask me, Rick and Co. are all lucky to be alive. Now, Go Get My Axe!
