Greetings to all,

I've been reading some of the "Beckerhead gathering" threads. They sound like some good times. I can see there are gatherings in the Northeast... does anything like this happen further south?

I'll be there Friday, probably noonish. I will have my son with me. Tent in usual spot if possible.
 
welp, i'm out. just got back from vaca and realize i am on-call next weekend for work. as it turns out, my son's mother is going to be out-of-town too, so he didn't have coverage. boy, am i bad at this "planning" thing.

SMH. curses!

Look for the lightpole with a gravel road going up the hill towards the right, and on that lightpole *should* be a sign with a big capital "B" on it.

The easiest way to get there is to drive past Sloans (the weird giant convenient store/gas station/bass pro/grocers/etc... that sits on the corner opposite the Hardees, and stay on that road, yes even past the part where you curve back around 180 degrees, and then turn left on the bridge that is covered in graffiti (and maybe even still a sign with a big green letter "B" one it) and drive until you see the lightpole mentioned above.

Or follow the trail of discarded panties and beer cans once you turn East out of Knoxville.
 
I am getting psyched..... Getting most of the groceries today.....Bacon....bacon?.... Bacon.. The weather guessers are prognosticating a decent weekend....... The camp is in good shape.....Plenty help is getting here early..... Shop is clean enough..... Ready to party hearty........ Safe journey.......

I'll be coming down with my friend Nate. Oz will also be with us. Staying at the usual location if that's OK. Should get there by Friday afternoon. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Im gonna have to miss this one...after my supervisor messed up my schedule, I was staring at six days off and a chance to visit mom, recuperating from knee surgery, and my favorite uncle, who will be having a minor (hopefully nothing serious) surgery on the 4th...and catching the fight on the 2nd with him at the neighborhood bar. So...off to the most beautiful island in the world, Puerto Rico! will have to content myself with the upcoming pics. Have fun peeps!!
