Staying in same line as yesterday...nearly an identical build except for the bolster and the tang stamp...sun washed...spring...

Day 13 gec 15 and a old bluegrass that was a complete ball of rust, i took ot apart and soaked parts in vinegar and then re-assembled it. The action is ok, i wish i had smoothed out the contact points of the tang and spring, its a big gritty feeling from the pitting.

You kinda threw me a curve spit fast ball sinker in the same pitch. You mean the screwdriver says Barlow on it ?
If it says Barlow and it don't include "Boker" ...... then maybe it's a go, but, you're going to be mighty uncomfortable totin' that screwdriver in your pocket all day.

It is a bare-head and it does have an extra long bolster and a blade, but, sticky notes bolster stamps ain't going to cut it ! .................... Buzzzz !
