Giving the "son's" Barlows a bit of R&R for a while.

He might be joined by one a his kids before the end.

Looks like you are the knife in the pocket with coins and keys type. Although I'm not, I have to admit that yours have a very nice character about them !

Double days post here. Didn't get a chance to post up yesterdays carry.
For day 16 continued with another Sheffield barlow this one an IXL

Boker Barlow in Castle Wood again. Anticipating no cutting today, but it did accompany me for my first trial using a solar filter and doing a sun capture. Mainly to work out using live view to control settings and focus, and exposure settings using manual exposure. Need a better location (too much solar reflected off pavement and roofs), sturdier tripod (too much vibration), and much better technique. A longer telephoto lens would be helpful, but not in the cards right now. Ah well, dance with the one ya brought.
