Looks like the thread has gone green today ............ just in time for the first day of Spring .... coming Tuesday the 19th this year.
Spring into spring .............. we're almost there !!

There's a few specks of green in the leaves with my TC15 .... if you look closely.
I knowed I should have saved my SEO&S Barlow picture for something ! ;) ;)

That's pretty crafty ........ that Irish Folk Tales book. 🤣

I've been remiss in my reporting, but have indeed been carrying a Barlow faithfully!! I'm not so Green though; I scrambled to put this scan together for Old Saint Pat!! Good thing I live in a land of Jade!!St Patrick.jpg

Day 27

Another hot one in sunny south Florida, 88°F, but with the humidity, it feels like 95°F. For anyone considering moving down here, just know that Miami is home to some of the most damaged people on earth, is the hurricane capital of the United States, the former murder capital of the United States (we're working on getting our title back!), the shark bite capital of the United States is just a scooch north of us, the state has over a million alligators (they can top 1000 pounds!), a rebounding population of crocodiles and panthers, and home to the only carnivorous tree that eats mammals! Oh, and if you don't speak Spanish, you won't make it 5 minutes! Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! 🍀

I don't have many green knives, and I certainly don't have any green barlows (unless you count that beerglow... but it's really more blue when it's not glowing). Luckily, I managed to find some clover in the back yard, my Remington Granddaddy Barlow, and this green knife that, strangely, happens to have some kind of odd five-leaf clover shield on it! If a four-leaf clover is regular lucky, a five-leafer must be like Powerball lucky! Wooooooo!!!

Really folks, don't move to Miami. It's not like how it is in the movies, or maybe it is depending on which movies you're watching. Just seriously, don't do it. Snow isn't that bad in the grand scheme of things.

Thanks, I'm very fond of it, not sure about the No. though but it's flat ground Trout & Bird and a bit smaller than the usual. Our friend CelloDan CelloDan has a SUPERB version in Stag that I've admired a lot :cool:

It depends on how you look at it ....... literally ! 🤣
Folded ... it's upside down ..... opened .... it's right side up. Flip it to the left ..... it's upside down again. I do prefer the ones they made that are right side up when folded. Nice Pair ! :thumbsup:🤣
There were other brands that did it the wrong way too ...... depending on how you look at it. 🤣
