Spring is coming fast!

Seeing a lot of critter activity. Seems like we get a few days in the 60's and then cools down to the 40's for a few-yup that's spring in Colorado !! :)

You got that right! up to 60's then down to -10 then back up to 60's all in 10 days just a few weeks ago.... the weather around here is nuts!

Well, just got back from the local farmers coop and bought 50 pounds of red seed potatoes for 19 dollars, and ordered 300 fingerling catfish to add to the pond. These seed potatoes will do at least a hundred row feet so that will put me at about 200 quarts of canned potatoes when it's all said and done. I will be planting after is dries up a bit from the rain moving in this weekend. Damn I love Spring!

just got some of plants started indoors. cant wait till its time to harvest

:Djeff, love the pics brother......but must you tease us with the proto 3....damn knife tease....:D

Still no cats on your cameras, Jeff? I have mine out a new spot that I think is going to pan out real well. Glad to see pictures without any snow in them!

Nice pictures Jeff!

It is a beautiful day over on this side of the county too.
I am loving it. :)

Drive south...you just have to start talking slower

I've been wearing shorts and sandals for two weeks here in Florida. The bad part is, allergies, and brush fires. My eyes are always itchy, burning, and tearing up. So, I can go outside, but I can't see. I can't breath through my nose either.
I'd rather it be cold, I don't mind it if I can breath and see.

Great shots... The knife pic is evil lol... I spent a lot of time outdoors growing up but the more I l read on this forum makes me think I didnt learn any outdoor skills growing up. Its interesting the basic skills you learn in different parts of the country.

I live just 29 miles from Florida, and Spring is HERE NOW! Took a walk on this nice day.

My carry gun today was the S&W Model 37 Airweight. Unlike my Kel-tec P3AT, I can actually hit something with this one.

I like that airweight, HD. A little pricey but I need to get something lighter and smaller than this Glock I'm using for my woods gun. You buy this new? If so, do you mind telling me how much you gave for it?

I saw a brand new one at a gun show Saturday for $395.00. I think I paid about $300 for mine years ago.

I think I'm just gonna start carrying a hand grenade as my woods/hiking gun. Cheaper and more effective

I am a winter guy, but I really need the spring to come so I can be working everyday. Spring is a good time, excluding the bugs that start to bug me.

HD, you dropped your WD-40. :D Nice 37. I'm a bigger gun mo' ammo kind of guy but slipping my 642 Airweight w/ a pocket holster in the front pocket of my hiking pants is just so convenient. I generally carry a Speed Strip in the other pocket.

I carry the 340 PD as a backup and love the thing. It will shoot the .357 but after shooting two boxes of it my wrist was swollen. I shoot the .38+p cor bon and have no problems now. I think you can pick up the S&W 442 for around $300.
