Spring is coming fast!

I'm glad it's getting to be spring there. The temperature here is swinging between 40F and 10F. That's not quite spring.

But those are great pics.

Jeff have you check out the Ruger SP101? Now it won't be quite as light as an air weight Smith, they are one hell of a nice small revolver. They are built like a tank; they just feel like they belong outdoors.

I am so jealous that you spend your day field testing gear and spending time with nature and I'm stuck in a concrete building!

I'm actually up before the sun rises and go out then. Return to the office about 8 AM and spend 8 hours here at work, then go back out in the evening. Matter of fact just got back from a 3 klik hike over the place. Left at quitting time (4 PM) and just returned.

Drive south...you just have to start talking slower

You ain't kidding. I moved to NC for a year and was in retail at the time. I couldn't sell anything at first until I slowed WAY down. I thought everyone was stoned.

Excellent photos.

Hurray! Can't wait to get out and about in the woods w/o boots, gaiters and foul weather gear.

Heh, I like how the 3 folder keeps mysteriously sneaking into these photo posts somehow. I don't know what the marketing term for it is, but damn, it's effective. I love the look of that knife.

Im pretty sure jeff knows how big of a tease he is, but would you have it any other way?:D

Nice post Jeff. Signs of Spring here also. This picture was taken this past Tuesday from my living room window.

Great pics Jeff. Thanks for sharing brother!

Are you feeling better now that you got over your bout of sickness? (respiratory congestion or some such?)

I've owned one and it's a great revolver just too heavy for what I want.

Doing much better just working every day to get my wind back after the pneumonia.

SPRING??
What is that? I know of no such thing.

I was out 4 a 5 mile hike yesterday and all I saw was this...

Frozen lake

An icy cascading waterfall

A very cool cave, perfect for a nice warming fire.

Or maybe not ;)

But this spot was nice to get some tea brewing.

Personally I prefer your pics to mine Jeff, and I can't wait to experience this "Spring" you speak of...
