Does anyone have one of these? Are they any good? Anybody know where I can get one? (Sorry I'm not sure if i am aloud to ask that question ) It looks like a very interesting knife! :D

You're allowed to ask. :) It's a bit specialized, designed for convenient carry, not heavy use. It fits well in a vest pocket or emergency kit.

It locks up nicely and the blade is thin so it will cut well and reliably. I had a heavy cardboard carton from furniture that I cut up with one, sliding through like paper, and mine isn't even the serrated version.

Here's a pic for ya Matt!

Keep an eye on the Exchange forums. They come around from time to time.:)

Very nice! I really hope I can find one, How much do they usually go for? I probably wouldn't pay more then $70.00 for one right?

I have one, with a partially serrated edge.

It's ok. Very handy size for carrying in your wallet, if you don't mind the weight. It is thin but heavy. The handle is not at all comfortable for heavy use. I consider it to be a back up to a real using knife. Would make a decent weapon, but then again, sharpened pot metal with a duct tape handle would make a decent weapon if you know what you're doing. It's a very interesting design, though I wish it had a more comfortable handle. I don't know where you can get one. You can't have mine.

Sharpened pot metal wrapped in duct tape,Sounds like the typical Shank.

I bought one from Sharp Phil a couple weeks ago, but haven't gotten it in the mail yet :(. I paid $40 for it....pretty good deal considering I've seen them on eBay for $75.

It is in my hands, but then again, so are the unsharpened table knives in your kitchen (assuming you have unsharpened table knives).

I have no unsharpened table knives. We would call those spatulas. :)
The Spydercard as a design was not optimized for combat.

(Check out Edward Bradichansky's other Spyderco design for a weapon: the Shabaria.)

I had one for a while and carried as my EDC. As a novelty, it's cool. While I can't fault the construction, it wasn't the right knife for anything other than light office duty. Cutting cardboard etc., was more of a chore than it might otherwise have been. Your hand hurts after a while.

It was also a little too thick to fit into a wallet and definitely too heavy. Not bad for a back pocket beneath a wallet, though.

By the way, Spyderco seems to have brought back something very similar as the FlatByrd at an affordable price:

$40 sounds like a good deal, considering I've seen them go for over $80 on the 'Bay.
I sorta got lucky with mine. Paid $20 shipped for it.
