I think I'll be looking out for this one. I'm wondering what the street price will be on it? Probably an ungodly amount. lol.

Nevermind. Found it on KW. Um yeah, this ones gonna have to wait.

I scored a Mantra 2 off BHQ this past evening. Seemed like fate since I had just received the new Spyderco catalog in the mail two days ago and decided that I'd keep an eye out for the Mantra 2. Good timing on my part, since it was marked out of stock right after I placed my order.

Congrats! Be sure to post pics and impressions right when ya get it!

Be curious to see if the orange Autonomy ever shows up at any dealers. The original word was that it wasn't going to be sold commercially, but now it's in the 2016 catalog so who knows...

Really want to see the Nirvana in person, at least on paper I feel like it's a legitimate competitor to the Sebenza...I had been toying with buying a really high end knife (in my opinion) like a CRK, but I'm a huge Spyderco fan and the Nirvana now enters that equation for me.

There are a bunch of upcoming Spydercos with a street price (MAP or 40% off MSRP) above $200. Most people do a double-take at the $200 mark for Spydercos. Even more so around the $250+ mark.

  1. Nirvana (Taiwan): $431.97
  2. Native5 40th Anniversary Damascus CF Sprint (USA): $359.97
  3. Brend/Pirela Mamba (Taiwan): $323.97
  4. Tighe Stick (Taiwan): $287.97
  5. Military CPM-S90V TI CF with R.I.L. Lock KnifeWorks (USA): $279.95
  6. Manix2 CPM-154/CPM-S90V Composite Blade CF Sprint (USA): $239.97
  7. ParaMilitary2 CPM-M4 CF KnifeWorks (USA): $219.95
  8. Myrtle (Taiwan): $215.97
  9. Vrango (Taiwan): $215.97
  10. Military 52100 CF Sprint (USA): $209.97

Nivana...$ 430. Wow. Beautiful but not for me at that price.

Mamba at $330 more than I want to spend but I will still get one.

I would love a m4 cf pm2

Lol. Considering my financial situation, that list is akin to the phrase, "one and done". I'd buy one of those and that would be it for the entire year. Lol

Not surprisingly, I find the cheapest one on the list is the only one that really interests me. :)

Full SE 52100.

Now being retired, with no income to speak of, it's kinda fun just looking at the new stuff coming down the pike.....but being extremely satisfied with the few nice blades I already have.

Might even sell one or two more, if I ever get that itch.

A 52100 Millie will be mine, though.....I enjoy watching steel do what steel does.

While others interest me, that Mili is the only one I know I will get. Second is the Myrtle, I can't not be drawn to it for some reason.

The Vrango is another I would like to try but it's a little pricey for my wallet. I think I would enjoy using it though. Maybe....
