Actually....Sal wasn't "told to look into it". Sal stated that he would look into it.

Is it me, or is the non-locking scale curved inwards?

I really like this design, wanted it the moment the prototype was brought out, but decided to read a couple of reviews first. Kind of disappointed at what's happening at this point.
Now keeping fingers crossed a good solution will be found so I can order one in the future.
 
I went ahead and ordered one. I will see for myself how it performs. I held one at a gun show and instantly knew I wanted one. I wanted to think about it a bit before buying (at $200+) but ultimately pulled the trigger.
 
I have carried mine every day since Christmas eve and flip the tar out of it. The blade fires out faster than my xm18s or patron flippers. I don't know what the fuss is about. I think a few people are spending a lot of energy echoing things they saw on YouTube. I live near GP knives and handled multiple advocates when I bought mine. The only issue I saw was one that the detent felt scratchy against the blade. I suspect wd40 would have solved that though.

I am in the same boat. Admittedly, I was a bit concerned after seeing the Apostle P's video and contemplated returning it for my money back but I have flipped mine countless times, inspected it through and through and cannot find anything empirically wrong with it.
