How about treating yourself or a loved one to a Christmas present?

I'm listing these 5 knives that are great knives and forum favorites, but I find I'm just not carrying them.

They all are in mint condition, except the Spartan Lite. (see below for details and pix) They all include the boxes except the Victorinoxes. They all retain the factory main bevel, but I have applied and fine-honed a 40° micro bevel to the cutting edges. They are all sharp.
  1. Sold: Spyderco Manix 2 Lightweight in translucent blue w/ BD1. $65.
  2. Spyderco Kapara, S30V, $160. Blade centering looks off in the pic, but it's a matter of adjustment. I loosened the pivot screw a bit, so the blade is more free. After taking the pic, I tightened it back up to bring blade centering back to perfect. (just to make sure it's doable)
  3. Sold: Benchmade 940, S30V, $140.
  4. Sold: Victorinox Spartan Lite, $25. This one is a user, but mostly just shows pocket wear. I must have carried it in a pocket with keys... I ground off the keyring nub, so it's more comfortable in the pocket. Includes the micro screwdriver in the corkscrew. This is a great everyday tool set and a great compliment to a tactical folder. (you'll tools, two more blade sizes, a different blade steel, etc.)
  5. Sold: Victorinox Pioneer, $25.
I'll offer a discount for multiples, and the prices include CONUS Priority Mail Shipping, appropriately insured. $390 takes them all (which is like one of the SAKs is free, as a "Good Customer Thank You" ;))

Please remember to leave feedback when you receive your knife/knives.

Thanks for looking!

I’ll take the Victorinox Spartan Lite
OK, sold pending funds. We'll talk on PM here shortly.

What tools do the Vic knives have?
What steel are the blades.
Thank you
The Pioneer has:
  • a large blade
  • bottle opener with large flat screwdriver and a wire stripping notch
  • can opener with small flat head screwdriver
  • awl
The implements are sturdier than those of most SAKs, as this is based on the previous military issue model.

The steel is proprietary to Victorinox, and is called 1.4110. There's a good discussion on it here:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/what-steel-exactly-does-victorinox-wenger-use.345309/

The blade is Rc 56, the other tools have different hardnesses, depending on their purpose. Details are in the article linked above.

Do you have the box and pouch for the 940?
Yes.

PM sent on that pretty blue Manix.
OK, you've got dibs.

I’ll take Manix if Kalama doesn’t. Please let me know.
Noted.

It's totally cool with me, if you sell your Manix to MrDanno! :)

Being a new BF member, he deserves this awesome X-Mas deal & get him off to a great start here.

Classy move.

PM incoming to MrDanno517!

Both Victorinoxes and the Manix 2 are sold.

Toojack: Do you want the 940? (yes it has the pouch, box and papers)

Was it carried, what condition is it in. I can't really tell if the scales have wear and nics on them. I'm in the market for a new one. If this is close to that Id considerate it.

I carried this knife probably 4 days. There are a couple of very light marks on the scales, but they're the kind you have to look quite closely to see. It's nothing even close to penetrating the finish, and I'm not sure I could even depict them with the camera.

These are currently selling new for $187. Mine is for sale at a $47 savings as compensation for those few small marks.
