Hi everyone. I'm on the hunt for some new steel so here are some knives up for trade. I'll be here to answer any questions you might have about what you see. I can give more details, specs, and pictures if you ask. If you're interested, feel free to start a conversation or email me at kenleung1995 at hotmail dot com. I also check my threads fairly often so I'll see your posts. If you just want a straightforward sale, let me know and we can have something worked out. Thanks for taking a looking.
For trades, I'm looking for a: Spyderco Lil' Lum, Spyderco Ouroboros, Spyderco Poliwog, S90V Yojimbo, Manix 2 XL, Striders, Chris Reeves, XM-18 with a Harpoon Spanto, Fatty Spanto, or Sparrow grind, ZT 0055, ZT 0460, ZT 0850, Olamics, Brous Hardwire, Brous Raven, Brous Anti Up, some Ferrum Forges, Curtiss knives, Southard Midtechs, Emerson Big Bulldog, Emerson Aftershock, some balisongs, and a Graham Razel but I'll be happy to hear other offers. Worst I can do is pass and cash can be added either way.
1. Spyderco Tuffram Civilian - very good condition
Original long discontinued version of the Civilian
ATS-55 blade
Aluminum frame with polished edges
Rubber-like inlays on the front side and on the clip give you a really nice grip
There is some wear on it but it's in great condition for an around 25 year old knife
2. Spyderco Myrtle - near mint - Traded
Leaf-shaped blade with a slightly hooked point
Working finish ti with a marble carbon fiber scale
There are some slight snail trails in the ti but they all blend in with the finish
Perfect action, centering, and lockup
3. Spyderco Double Bevel - like new
The blade has a hollow grind toward the pivot and then turns into a full flat grind
Blade and liners have a polished satin
Textured G-10 scales
Very close to brand new
It's hard to tell but the blade seems to favor the lock side by a hair
Locks up tight with no play
4. Cold Steel Espada XL - very good condition
Insane 7.5" polished blade and measures 16.75" overall when open
Handle is polished double-bolstered aluminum with a polished G-10 scale on either side
Waves open easily with the thumbplate
Blade is a very good slicer; thin behind the edge
There are faint scratches on the polished parts of the knife
Locks up tight with the Cold Steel Tri-Ad lock
The monstrous blade sits dead center in the handle
