Unfortunately, no. In order for them to stay on securely, I have to epoxy them on. Theoretically, one could mill the wood out with enough precision to get a friction-fit like with the molded plastic scales, but I do this stuff by hand, and tolerances that tight... not a chance
On the other hand, like I mentioned a post or two ago, I could take a commission to do your classic (or something else) for you. I'd be happy to talk about it if you're interested.
Are we still on for the Chive then? I'm already mailing a couple knives tomorrow, I could get this Classic out at lunchtime as well.
