I just got a Spyderco Gayle Bradley yesterday. All I can say is WOW. This thing is perfect. It looks great, is super smooth, the blade is dead centered, and the grinds are even. This is an all around awesome knife. Sadly, being a lefty, I find the lock hard to operate, so I'm probably going to have to sell or trade it. If it wasn't for that, I honestly think that this is a knife that would keep me satisfied for a long time. Great job on this one Spyderco... and for anyone who doubts what can be produced in Tiawan, you really need to get a hold of one of these.

Agreed, the GB is probably my tied as my favorite spyderco along with the PM2. I have one of the older versions with out the milled liners but I believe the M4 was run a little harder. It feels great in hand and is butter smooth. The Taichung factory really does an excellent job with fit and finish.

I'm a lefty and I don't have trouble with the lock. It will gradually become less stiff over time.

Got one off the exchange yesterday and eagerly awaiting its arrival tomorrow. How excited should I be......? :)

I lean towards the Gayle Bradley being my favorite barely over the PM2.

The GB is my favorite knife. I'm hard pressed to find one thing about it that I would improve on.

I have picked the GB to EDC yesterday and today. It is truly a crazy built knife. It is the knife that people are constantly blown away by when I show it to them.

I'm left handed too. I have no problems closing liner/frame locks. No, I can't do it one handed, but even the left hand frame locks I have or have handled didn't feel right closing with one hand.

And I have a few knives made at the Taichung factory. (The GB being one of them) All of them are top notch in quality and fit and finish.

A very nice knife, other than some kinda funky ergos (proud liners :barf:). The blade cuts like a dream, too.

I had some scales made that are flush with the liners, and the release cutout made a little deeper.

I love the GB and think its a steal of a knife for what you get... M4 Steel, Overbuilt in strength and liners, Taichung precision and CF scales...Typically sells 2nd hand for just over $100, hard to beat... I just wish I trusted a reasonably priced pimp'r/mod'r to make the lock more accessible because frankly I like to play with my knives and its tougher to close so it see's little pocket time. I know its not in the spirit of what it was built for and could increase the possibility of accidental lock release, but I dont have an issue with squeezing my liner locks till they close on me and if I dont carry it, because its a pain to close ... then what good is owning it.
