C_K, super job on that relief of the scale to get that extra access to the lock bar. Me being left handed I don't know if that would assist me in the "one hand close," but I really like it. Didn't know you could get a CRK in cf.
Thanks man, I was really careful to keep how proud the liners are even and take the scale down the exact same amount as I cut into the liner. It really makes the knife so much more usable.

The CF Sebenza is a Knife Art exclusive.

oh yes... GB is a great knife.

Sadly, being a lefty, I find the lock hard to operate, so I'm probably going to have to sell or trade it. If it wasn't for that, I honestly think that this is a knife that would keep me satisfied for a long time.

I guess I must be a wimp. I just can't get the liner over enough to free the blade with my left thumb...oh well.
I do want to comment on the fit and finish. I couldn't ask for a nicer, cleaner, put together knife as the GB. What a beauty.
So now, what to do with this well built knife that looks as if it could have some siblings somewhere in Idaho ;).

Anyone have a good idea how to get the blade out? Based on another forum member's recommendation, I tried removing one pivot screw and pushing the pivot out the other side, but this guy doesn't want to budge. It'd be nice to get the blade out to clean around the pivot...

Just take the whole thing apart. (insert warranty disclaimer here ______) Much simpler to reassemble anyway. The washers are difficult to install without pulling the liners apart. And I can't remember on this model if the pivot is stepped and won't come out like a straight pivot pin.

I tried taking the whole thing apart and got as far as removing all the screws and getting the scale pried up about halfway on the lock side and couldn't get it to budge anymore. I feel like by the time I get it apart there's going to be some very marred up scales and liners. Why I've resorted to just trying the method above...

Try prying it apart using wooden spatula, plastic, etc.

Wood and plasting items are good and I've also used a small screwdriver wrapped in cloth. You want to make sure the end of whatever prying device you use goes all the way through the liners so you are using the sides to do your prying and the pointy ends aren't digging into the liners when you apply force to it.
