Spyderco guys... please help me choose midsize model

Zippo.. I've liked the design, specs and look of the Sage 2 from my first view of it. No doubt I will wind up with one of them joining my Sage 1. Thanks for your comments.

I recommend the Endura with foliage green G-10 and ffg. Tried the S30V FRN Native for a while and it was okay, but does not compare to the ffg endura in terms of cutting ability, ease of sharpening and overall coolness.

No problem it is a knife you will never regret. Simply beautiful and capable.

#1: Carbon Fiber Stretch. Worth every penny and more. Fine slicer.
#2: FFG G10 Endura. Workhorse.

The Sage II is a little "light duty" for my tastes. It would do fine for EDC, but its more of a gentleman's folder in my book.

The Endura and Delica rock. Tenacious too. See nutnfancy's reviews of these knives on youtube.

I vote for the Delica 4 (I prefer serrated) or the Tenacious. Or Paramilitary (serrated); or Endura G10. :) I have them all, play with and use them all, and still can't decide which is my fave. The thing is, my "favorite" changes about every 48 hours. That makes it pretty hopeless for someone who can't have them all at once to examine. Basically, you have to close your eyes and pick one. You'll like it, whatever it is you end up with.

Like the Martian said, "opinions are like cornholes; everyone has 13 of them."

I don't disagree with you often, but I have to this time. I can't see how a Ti frame lock Sage could ever be considered lighter duty than a Delica.

The Endura doesn't feel like a midsize to me--it feels like a full size. How about a G-10 Delica? I have one and there's a lot to recommend it.

The cost range of these recommendations is a wide one: the Sage 2 is 2-3X the cost of a FRN Delica, and is 1.5-2X a G-10 version.

How much does the OP want to spend?
