Spyderco Military linerlock

Does your liner go all the way up that ramp? I'm exerting hardly no pressure at all and I get a grinding and sometimes a squeek as it slides down the ramp. I called warranty and repair a while back and she said that was normal for linerlocks. Being a lefty this is the first I've owned so I couldn't argue.....

Currently at work, I will get home and try to shoot two pics, one with liner on ramp, one with liner on flat part after pressure is applied.

No, on mine the liner is sitting about midway up the ramp.

Generally when I have problems with a liner lock, a good cleaning and some adjustment of the pivot clears it up.

Don't get me wrong on this I dig my knife and EDC it more than most of my others, but on my millitary I can push down on the spine a get about 1/16th of an inch play as it slides down the ramp on the blade. Anybody else have this and is this a safety factor.

I can do the same thing with this one.

I blow out any fuzz and debris with air and keep the pivot good'n tight. So that ain't it....Unfortunatly. I can by no means disengage the lock by just pressing on the spine and I do have complete confidence in my knife or else I would not EDC'r, I was just wonderin if this was normal????? Cool pic by the way.RMC 85

If you pressure test the lock (the only non-destructive way to test a lock), and it doesn't close, I'm sure it's fine.
When I check mine I can see the lockbar bow out a bit.
If the liner engages too close to the end of its travel you might want to have the stop pin adjusted.
