Spyderco Military vs. Emerson CQC-8

I'm assuming you might want it for self defense and utility? Don't buy the Military as your point will snap off with a slight sideways force. Once your tip snaps off, you loose much of the defense potential of the knife.

I wouldn't get the Emerson either. Bad fit & finish, liner locks that wear quickly and just a generally over priced knife.

Why don't you get a Kershaw Tremor? Under $30 and better and more sturdy than the overpriced Emerson and fragile Military. With the money you save, you can take your wife/girlfriend for a nice dinner....;)
