spyderco military vs zt0200

They're two totally different knives with two totally different purposes. They're also both high quality knives, I wouldn't say one is appreciably better than the other in general, it depends what you're going to use them for. For something like food prep the Military wins every time. For prying up manhole covers the ZT would probably be better.

I do like heavy duty knives, but to me the 0200 is just a little too big to carry. It's very comfortable in the hand though.
 
Two very different knives, despite the similar blade lengths.
While I'm sure the Military is a very capable cutting tool, and despite the fact that I basically like the ergonomics & aesthetics, it feels flimsy and lightweight to me - almost like a toy. That said, I very much understand why so many people love it...and I really wish I was one of them.
My feelings about the ZT0200 are fairly well documented here - I've been carrying one for (approx) 2 yrs. It fits my hand well; and has done everything I've asked of it. There are certainly improvements that could have been made; but I am happy with it as it is. (an 0200 with M390, though, would be worth its weight in silver).

So how long have you used your 0200 and your Military? ;)

Like others have said two very differant knives. I carried a 0301 every day for a little over a year, for the past four months its been a Military every day.

Both ZT and Spyderco make solid quality products. More than tough enough for daily use, and even a little abuse. Neither is better than the other, just differant designs.

Either one, doesn't matter.

If staying alive comes down to which knife you have with you, your knowledge stinks, and you will die anyway.
 
not really, you know a knife is a tool for keeping you alive, the zt exaggerates your skills better in my opinion that the spyderco

Seriously though I'm a ZT Guy. I'm sure the Mili would be great just not my preference. Spyderco and ZT have passionate fans.
