spyderco military vs zt0200

I have both and each has their selling points but I prefer the Millie.
Slimmer, lighter, and a better slicer are what I like about the Military.
The 0200 is an exceptional value though, especially at pre MAP pricing.

There was a reason the other thread was closed. Lets not get personal with this one or it won't last long.

You can't get a 0200 in any other steels. I'm in the mind of having both anyway. So the only decision for me is which to carry at any given moment.

Personally, any quality folder will do the job a folder is intended to. I just do not understand the obsession with prying and batoning with a folder. especially planing to use a folder for that. If I was planning to be in a SHTF situation, I'd always carry a small bushcraft knife and a small hatchet like a Gransfors Small Hatchet.

BTW, I own both the 0200 and Military and would choose the Military. It carries better and would do everything a folder has to.

But, I carry neither and carry a Strider SnG.

The handle on the 0200 feels cramped and uncomfortable to me. I also appreciate how thin and light the military is in the pocket. I don't pry with any of my knives, so that's not a concern.
I'm not really a fan of flippers, so the military wins for me there too.

Glad you found a knife you like though OP! Any pictures?

Are you kidding? That's the best part of the ritual!

Wait...you WERE talking about the ritual, right?

Yes of course I'm talking about THE ritual! The part right before you have to baton a folder of your choice through a redwood completely naked in order to carve a water bottle to hold urine and then build a shelter and fire, again, completely naked

I carry my spyd'ie milli with G10 handles when I run, or am out and about, that and my Kahr PM9. I have tried many concealed carry options, and I like to go light. I found anything much heavier then those 2, and I am leaving them at home simply because the weight does not work for me.
