Spyderco Native is Awesome

I like the looks of it...But it feels absolutely abominable in my hand. :thumbdn: Thats why I never bought one.

Psycho78, If you tried the Native and found the handle uncomfortable, try the Native III. Very different handle. It is thicker and more contoured than that of the Native. I find the Native III to be very comfortable in the hand. I do not find it to be too thick to EDC, but I wear jeans most of the time.
 
The Native was my first "nice" knife since my old Buck 110. Still using it and IMHO think it can't be beat for the price.
 
I was very torn between going with the 'high end' steel in the Native or going with one of the Byrd line. Ended up getting a Native on an impulse buy and don't regret it. Haven't had much real work for it here at school, but come summer I'm sure it'll see its share of beatings whether I go back to tree work or get into wildland firefighting.
