Do all G10 natives have liners?

Mike
No. All G10 Native V's have liners, but there were some unlined G10 Natives made about 16 years ago.

love my native 5. The shortish blade and green scales are a little more crowd friendly than a lot of my other knives. This or my dragonfly2 are my try not to scare the public knives.

I recently got a used native 5 and I've been blown away by it. Imo this is a perfect sub 3" edc. I've been carrying it alongside a pm2 as well as alone. It carries like a dream. I love me some finger choils. Now my delica sees no pocket time.

I t seems to me that having heft in a small knife almost defeats the purpose of having a small knife. Having g10 and frn versions of the Native 5, I like them both but feel the lw version is a better package for a small knife. The lw version seems very strong.

Now that I have two generations of Native lightweight I very much agree.

I thought I would want to 'upgrade' to G10 and probably sell off the FRN versions, but honestly they are basically perfect EDC knives and feel as strong as they need to for the cutting I will put them through.

The first Native I bought spent a few months sitting on my desk as I pondered how fugly and weird it looked, and put the Delica in my pocket every day. But then I put it in my pocket, carried it, used it, and slowly became enamored with it. I still have a Tenacious, Delica, Dragonfly, Manbug and Manix sitting in my little EDC bin next to some non-Spydies, but now I have eyes only for my blue Native LW S110V.

There's still times I carry a sheep-friendly knife like a Manbug or Vic, and there's still times I carry a bad boy knife like an auto or OTF, but they all live in a bin, where the Native lives in my pocket. Lately I get a new knife and it goes straight to storage. It's been months since I got a new knife that even broke into the EDC rotation bin, so my pocket is the highest praise I can give the Native, just like an empty plate for a chef.
