In collaboration with Ken Onion make Spyderco's version of the highly successful Kershaw Leek.

And make it in 14C28N steel at a MSRP of $75.

Such a knife at this price point is guaranteed to sell like hotcakes.

You need to read more and post less. Spyderco discontinues many, many knives each year. You got to make room for the new when you are always innovating and collaborating. I think Ken is working with other companies so it is unlikely. Honestly, Ken seems to love recurve blades and I dislike them so I would probably pass.

You never ever discontinues a knife that sells like hotcakes.

The slow sellers though, yes of course.

Best of both worlds... my Orange Ken Onion and my PM2 Burple in S110V :)

If Kershaw is better and the Leek is awesome because it is $45 why would you want Spyderco to make the same knife in the same steel for $30 more? Get a Mantra2 and you have a knife similar to the Leek with a better steel. You are gonna have to pay to play though. It costs almost twice what you are asking.

I think this is the best response to all of these threads about Spyderco making a version of a the leek. If the leek is so incredible...why not just keep buying leeks? I love my dragonfly, but my response isn't to insist that benchmade make a version of it.

Just spend $37 on a tenacious since it is better in every way and save yourself $8.00.

Side note. Looked at a Leek in a store yesterday and it was $77.00.

Let me enlighten you on that: I said $75 MSRP and the Spyderco dealers can sell at 40% less than the MSRP so with what price do we end up with then?

Could they also make it so that it turns into a boat? I hate to repeat myself from the last thread but I'd buy at least 7 if they also turned into boats.

With a prop made from 14c28N (because it is cheaper) and for an MSRP of $75 and I too am in.

Heck, if it turned into a canoe I would be happy.

OP - you seem to be on a crazy trip to tell all the Spyderco fans they are wrong....its not gonna end well. Plus you are making the rest of us KAI fans look bad by playing into the aggressive fanboy stereotype. Learn from those of us that have been here a while....read more, post less. Maybe pop a chill pill and be appreciative of the fact that different companies offer different options. Spyderco has a lot of options for a lot of people...if they aren't for you then try making threads about why you enjoy a particular knife to onboard others instead of trying to convince an existing manufacturer bend to your whims. (HINT: They wont) You have already been called out once by Spyderco Mods....why push it?

It can't turn into a boat if it's a Spydie!!!!! They have holes and the boat would sink!
Come on guys!! Sheeeesh!
Sorry you have to put up with this nonsense Mr Anderson.
