Spyderco ParaMilitary 2 - S90V / W-DLC / OD Green G-10. Knife features a full-flat ground PlainEdge blade machined from an ultra-high performance Crucible CPM S90V Stainless steel enriched with Vanadium content that promotes the formation of hard vanadium carbides instead of chromium carbides, increasing the steel’s wear resistance and edge-holding properties while leaving additional free chromium available to enhance corrosion resistance.
In this Para Military 2’s the blade is full-flat ground with a Tungsten DLC coating and distally tapered for a remarkable balance of strength, low-friction cutting performance, and point utility. True to Spyderco form, the blade also features a Trademark Round Hole for quick, reliable one-handed opening with either hand.
Like other versions of the Para Military 2, this knife features nested skeletonized stainless steel liners and Spyderco’s patented Compression Lock mechanism, a high-strength lock that allows the knife’s blade to be safely and easily closed with one hand. The liners are contained within precision-machined textured OD Green G-10 scales. Stainless steel stand-offs and a lined lanyard hole create an open-backed handle construction that minimizes weight and allows easy cleaning and maintenance. To ensure convenient carry and instant access, the handle also features a four-position hourglass clip that supports left or right-side tip-up or tip-down carry.
