I tend to overdo the knives I carry on a daily basis but I end up carrying both. Para 2 tends to feel a little more solid with g10 scales and full liners, but the griptillian has never given me cause to feel like it won't be just as solid. It just doesn't have the full liners and the handle material feels "weak". It definitely is only a feeling as the handles hold up well.
Both have tight lock ups after several years of use. The only place where I think the para outshines the griptillian completely is the ffg on the para. I tend to prefer that grind.
Either knife is great, and it will probably come down to which feels better in your hand.
