Spyderco Reveal 21

People regret lots of silly things. I had several chances to get one of those Delicas at a discount and passed. I'm sure the new one will sell quickly.

I'm still trying to get over the Ti framelock Tenacious asking price from one of the more recent reveals. At least the asking price on those has come down some. I wanted to be curious since the HRC is supposed to be 60-62 and it's a rare thing to see better than 58-60 HRC as the normal. Maybe if it comes down at least a little more.

I would find it difficult to drop $900 on that knife in the reveal. Well, actually, something orders of magnitude above difficult. That said, I've bought four Spydies in the past couple of weeks. So, I feel like I'm doing my part.:thumbsup:

25 years ago they had a $500 Delica as the anniversary knife, compared to the regular $50-70 production examples. I suspect that people who had a chance but passed on those at the time regret it.
25 years ago people still weren’t discerning. $500 Delica…pshh.

It’s nuts.

Oh…knife knuts. Haha.

I can't imagine the Canadian price yet but the spot up here usually is within $5+/- of the US price. But now I expect I'll have months to normalize what this is going to cost (along with the Damsteel Chaparral).

What’s the closest non-alphabet-soup steel to 9Cr18?
The Skoli looks like it might make a good knife for doing less-than intelligent things.

I agree with the general sentiments about the N5. I was really interested when I saw it in the reveal. Much less so when I saw the MAP.
