The only qualm I have about this knife is the way the guy in the video is closing the knife. It has a compression lock. So not sure why he is closing the knife like that unless there is something else going on with the knife design.

Spyderco killing it this year! Lots of great stuff, too much to pick up. What more can you ask for than a flipper and spyderhole and compression lock and leaf shaped flat ground blade and s30v, I'm buying a Sliver (I sure hope they did away with the teflon washers). What I don't get, and has confused me for a while, is why Ed Schempp is so dead set on putting the edge needlessly far away from the grip. The EuroEdge is a beautiful pattern/design, but as with all of Ed Schempp's ethnic series designs the edge could be about .5" longer.

Noooo! It's such an awesome knife, but I can definitely see this being an issue for me. Wish it was something nicer than S30-V too.

Way to go spyderco. Lots of goodies. I really like the new Chinook IIII with powerlock and new waved karambit. The lil temp looks ok, but Id rather it be green again and made in the USA.

Seems to me Spyderco had gone compression lock happy this year.

That's a good thing in my book. Love the lock, and it is nice change from frame, liner, and back locks, and an improvement if you ask me!

Lots of cool knives. Spyderco delivers again. I kinda want a lil volotton. Might pick up a PM2 sprint this year, will have to take a closer look at these newcomers.

A salt in G10 is great except ... why THAT G-10? Black or yellow, great. Black and yellow stripes, not for me.

Two words.. custom scales.
Make it your own wood/cf/G10. So many options. And ya I like the knife but not on board with the yellow either.
The sliver seems like a perfect knife. Flipper compression lock with wire clip. Hmmmm

You can dye the scales with Rit Dye and it'll be a whole new knife, takes about 30 - 45 mins.
