Why did Spiderco put that ugly unnecessary lanyard hole on this beautiful knife?

Can anyone confirm if the liner on the G10 side Titanium or Steel? I really really hope it's TI, it would open so many more doors as far as anodizing goes.

Beats me...I took the lanyard tube out of mine... It looks so much nicer.

tuffthumbz anodized his to match the stop plate he made. They are definately Ti as stated.

I received a Southard recently and echo any accolades of superb quality. The knife is so good that it begs the question of why someone should move up to more expensive flippers.
