A lot of times the price is your first clue. If it seems to good to be true.....and all that.perhaps there should be pictorial sticky thread on how to ID fakes of popular knives? granted, it might be too late for whoever bought one already, but checking it out might prevent future buys.
You made the right choice! The seller wanted to give me a $8 partial refund and let me keep the knife instead of returning it, haha. Elevated it to a full refund.

Don't worry, his "supplier" "assured" him it is authentic. That is outrageous! Pay half price for a fake knife?
Some of you doubt there are even fake tenacious? Let me try this. The coated Spyderco tenacious sells for $48 currently. It costs perhaps less than $10 to manufacture a fake. That is nearly 400% profit.
I do understand this, but I've been handling knives for a while, and while price is an easy way to figure it, it is not so obvious for new people getting into the hobby. They just see a great bargain and get suckered in.A lot of times the price is your first clue. If it seems to good to be true.....and all that.![]()
True, but at the same time, it doesn't take much effort these days to see what they normally sell for or find an MSRP. Or MAP.I do understand this, but I've been handling knives for a while, and while price is an easy way to figure it, it is not so obvious for new people getting into the hobby.
